Neymar to Chelsea?!

Santos stud Neymar has announced that he would consider an offer from Chelsea when the time is right.  He said that Chelsea is in the elite group of about 5 clubs that he would consider a move to in the future.  The 20 year old brazillian has proven to be one of the best strikers in the world, and most certainly would fetch an insane amount of money.  My guess is the bidding war will get out of control, and the offer could push into the ellusive 100 Million Pounds mark.  Time will only tell

Managing your brand

Your brand is something that defines you.  It will tell people about you, give them an insight as to who you are.  If this brand is not managed, people are forced to come up with their own conclusions.  This could be a make or break in landing a job, or getting that promotion.

When one googles them self, what is the first thing that comes up?  If it is something positive, like a linked in page, that is a good sign.  When a local story about a DUI stop is the first hit, then you might be in a little bit of trouble.  Here are a few good tips in managing your online brand.  First, have something out there that future employers can look at.  Linked in is the best form of social networking, as it is considered one of the most professional sites.  Be very careful of twitter and facebook, because of the inappropriate content that could be involved with these sites.

So, in essence, make sure you available on the web, but you need to make sure that content is appropriate to all people who may be searching you.

Sunday Wrap up

Chelsea win over Norwich 4-1 to climb back up to 4 points up on the Premier League.  Goals from Torres, Lampard, Hazard, and Brasa convincingly thwarted the early lead from their English rivals.  Juan Mata provided a Man of the Match performance, assisting on three of the four Blues goals.  His ability to isolate defenders and pick out the perfect pass has helped Chelsea to where they are today. #KTBFFH
